Forestry Mulching

Forestry mulching is a one-step vegetation-clearing method that cuts, grinds, and clears unwanted vegetation while leaving a natural layer of mulch on the ground. This process is faster, cleaner, and more eco-friendly than other brush removal methods.

Benefits of Forestry Mulching:

  • Creates a clean, usable space for future projects

  • Leaves nutrient-rich mulch that improves soil health

  • Helps prevent erosion and control water runoff

  • Cost-effective and efficient compared to traditional Bruch Removal Methods

  • Eco-friendly process that preserves the natural landscape

  • Safe and effective for clearing underbrush, trails, and overgrown areas

  • When it comes to pricing a forestry mulching job, there are a few key factors we take into consideration to give you an accurate estimate. The biggest factor is the size of the area you’d like cleared — larger spaces naturally take more time and equipment use. We also look at the type and density of vegetation: underbrushing is faster than taking down thick undergrowth or large hardwood trees. The terrain is another factor, since steep slopes, rocky ground, or wet areas can slow down the process and require more careful work. Lastly, accessibility matters — if the land is easy to reach with our equipment, that helps keep costs down, but if we need to navigate tight or difficult areas, that can add some time.

  • In most cases, no. Unlike traditional clearing methods that remove vegetation roots and compromise the soil’s natural erosion control, forestry mulching preserves the root system leaving a natural environmentally friendly erosion control.

  • You can definitely cut bamboo with a Forestry Mulcher . . . however, we do not recommend this because bamboo is an extremely invasive, fast growing plant that can only be completely removed by attacking the root system.
